Shakes head...you are so very young, Grasshopper. Goonies lunchbox?? I carried a metal Daniel Boone lunchbox...yes the show with Fess Parker, dammit!! I cried when my Dad brought that home. My next one was a vinyl Beatles ripoff band. All had thermoses that if you dropped them, you risked drinking kool-aid with glass shards in it. Ah, the good ol' days.
I had THAT Trapper Keeper! The rainbow one! Wheeeeeeeeeeee! :) I am, however, VERY happy that mechanical pencils are used now. :) I hated the feel of #2s on my fingers! LOL
Love the Goonies lunchpail. Please tell me it comes with a thermos. It's interesting that Data is the central figure while Mikey is in the background with Sloth and the others.
Javid, I retain none of it but the fond, fond memories.
Cobra, I think it's just impossible to convey the awesome that is Data in a smaller space. And, yes, it does come with a thermos. Mikey gets more play on the thermos.
And the Pee-Chee folders were the bomb. It had measurement and conversion tables on the pockets inside.
Hell--it even had the multiplication table!
And when it would start to fall apart from getting filled with papers, I'd repair the rips with masking tape until my mom would yell at me and buy more folders.

Oh my gosh, I loved Trapper Keepers. I think I still might love them. I didn't have that trapper keeper, but I did have that design on some folders.
