I Can Has Agent?

*Shuffle shuffle. Tap, tap, tap.*

Ahem. *tap, tap, tap* Is this thing on?

Ladies and Gentlemen, Brothers and Sisters, Butchers and Bakers and Candlestick Makers,

I have partnered with a angel of mercy literary agent and will now begin the terrifying faint-inducing exciting journey of attempting to sell my manuscript.

I have not slept in three nights, so I shall end this post here and get back to you when I have a little more functionality in the frontal lobes of my brains.

LISTENING TO: Nothing. Just sitting here with head phones on. Huh.

    I know this is an old post, but I was on Bransford's Forums and I came across your first query stats - I clicked on your blog link and saw that you had an agent. I have spent the last ten minutes scrolling through your back blogs to find the one - the post that said it had finally come true. Someone's dream had finally come true. Congratulations!!! While I wait endlessly for those FULL requests to come back to me with a thumbs up or down - this actually makes me feel better.

    Thanks for stopping by (love Nathan's forums). Yes, it is possible to swim out of the slush! I'm learning that the publishing game is made slightly easier when you come equipped with patience, difficult as that is. :)

    We're going on submission in early 2011. Hopefully I'll be able to post about a sale some day soon!

    Congratulations on your full requests. That is a great sign. Good luck on your own journey. :)
